Description
2” pot. This classic snow-white species is the national flower of Indonesia and the ancestor of many of today’s white and colored phal hybrids. Flowers are large, long-lasting, well-formed and flat. They are produced in late winter or early spring on long spikes. A mature plant can produce multiple spikes, but they will bloom while still small. It is originally native to northern Australia, New Guinea, Indonesia and the Philippines, where it grows on trunks and branches of trees in the rainforest. Phal amabilis can tolerate more light than many phals, making it a good candidate for bright areas. Young seedlings.
