Winter is here, so there is a distinct probability that shipping will be unsafe for orchids. “Unsafe” means any 10-day forecast with low temperatures below 26F. Any orders that are deemed unsafe even with a heat pack will be held until the forecast indicates that your temperatures are in the marginally safe range. For now, 72-hour heat packs will be included as needed, with no extra charge. If 10-day forecast temperatures at our location, your location, or possible transit points all are above freezing but you are still worried about your plants, you can purchase a heat pack for use in transit.
