[The winter holiday season is here, so the last plant shipments are going out this week. Anything ordered after this is going to be put on hold unless you are on the coastal part of the West Cost and our weather and your weather is safe for shipping. “Unsafe” shipping means any 10-day forecast with low temperatures below 26F. If you are anywhere other than the coastal part of the West Coast, you can still place orders, but your plants will not ship until 2025, and only then if/when temperatures are in a range that is safe with a heat pack.
Because shipping and other costs continue to go up, we will add the cost of a heat pack to flat shipping rates everywhere except the West Coast once heat packs become obligatory, starting after New Year’s and continuing through at least the end of February. Please note that if you are in Florida or any other theoretically “warm-enough” part of the country, your shipment will probably have to go through Chicago, Denver, Salt Lake City, or some other extremely cold airport hub, so do not be surprised that we have to use a heat pack even if we and you are warm enough.
