Paraphalaenopsis laycockii

Description

3″ pot. Terete-leaved species native to Borneo will eventually grow quite large, with long, pendant leaves, but can start blooming while relatively small.  Blooms in summer with spikes of lightly banana and/or cinnamon-scented flowers that are pink, with a long, forked pink lip striped with brick red. Mid-sized plant is starting a flower spike or secondary growth at the base.
