Bc Richard Mueller x Schomburgkia brysiana

Description

Bc (aka Bl) Richard Mueller is a compact primary hybrid between Brassavola nodosa and Laelia (now called Cattleya) milleri, a rupiculous laelia that produces bright orange flowers. Richard Mueller produces sprays of golden yellow flowers with a red-spotted lip. The flowers may change color somewhat as they age. Schomburgkia (now called Myrmecophilia) brysiana is a large Central American species that blooms with sprays of many ruffled orange flowers with lips that range from cream to purple in color. We don’t know what the flowers od this cross will look like. Nice young seedlings.
