Rhynchostylis gigantea

SKU: N/A Categories: , ,

2” pot. A beautiful and powerfully fragrant species from southeast Asia. Usually blooms in winter. The plant has a vanda-like appearance and is not as gigantic as its name sounds. The flowers are borne on long pendulous stalks covered with many blossoms that can be a variety of colors. The plants we have for sale are supposed to produce white flowers with “blue” (probably lavender) spots. Mid-sized seedlings, only a few available. Received my order today, and couldn’t be happier! My rhy gigantea came well packed with newspaper and a shipping heat pack. It is a beautiful seedling with gorgeous striping on the leaves. I’m in love and can’t wait to see the blooms once it matures!
