Description

FCC/AOS 2” pot. Also called Psychopsis, this is a cross between Onc Butterfly and Onc papilio. The compact plants are very attractive, with gray-green leaves spotted with red.. They bloom on tall spikes bearing one large flower at a time, but continue to bloom sequentially from the same spike. One spike can bloom for many years. The flowers are “butterfly” shaped, with very thin, antenna-like sepals and two wider, frilly petals striped in rust and gold. The huge round lip is bright yellow edged with rust. Beautiful and unusual. Young, small  mericlone “seedlings. [Photo shows Oncicium papilio]

This little cutie arrived healthy and green, very small with 2 pseudobulbs. The leaves of mine were a deep forest green mottled with maroon ‘veins’. I received this specimen about a month ago, repotted about 2 weeks ago, and it’s still looking healthy. Keep in mind, these are slow growers as well but overall still a rare beauty.

Oncidium Mendenhall ‘Hildos’ was delivered fast and soo small. Like the other review the plant arrived small, healthy and it’s soo cute. Its mottled leaves has more green than burgundy markings. I am pleased with the plant I received

Maturing pseudobulb, nice firm leaves with dark mottling, I have 2 other Psychopsis, small compared to them but growing nicely
