Description
3” pot. Phal violacea is a small species native to Southeast Asia; it blooms with extremely fragrant solid colored flowers. The photo shows the standard variety, but the indigo variety produces dark blue-purple flowers. The red variety has dark red flowers. Flowers appear sequentially from the same spike, so never cut the spike after flowering. These are warm growing and appreciate high humidity, but they can tolerate cool-intermediate temperatures for a while in winter, and/or at night. Leaves are broad and shiny. The plants we have for sale are blooming size seedlings, just starting to spike.
