Description
2” pot. This is a cute caudiciform plant native to South Africa, belonging to the mint family. It grows fairly quickly and forms a thick caudex or a mass of caudiciform stems. The leaves are aromatic, as are the lavender flowers. Flowers are produced in small spikes of many tiny flowers. These plants make great bonsai specimens if trimmed regularly, or will grow to over 12” tall if allowed to develop naturally They are drought-tolerant, so make good companions for orchids. The plants we have for sale are blooming size, with nicely developed caudices, ready to go into a larger pot. Photo shows an example of the approximate size plant you will receive.
