Vanda tessellata is native to the Himalayan region, and blooms with spikes of many fragrant, long-lasting flowers that are white to cream-colored with dense purple spots or tessellations and a purple lip. Vanda luzonica is a Philippine species that blooms in spring or summer with spikes of many fragrant flowers that are white with purple spots and a pink lip. The flowers will likely be light in color, fragrant, with pink-purple spots and/or tessellations and a pink-purple lip. Photo shows Vanda tessellata. Young seedlings.
