WINTER IS COMING – LAST CHANCE FOR SHIPPING

November is here, and it is likely that some places will be having (or may even have already had!) their first freezing temperatures. Due to the unpredictability of shipping times, especially during the winter holiday season, we can no longer depend on 72-hour heat packs to protect your plants. You do not want to receive dead, frozen plants along with a petrified, cold heat pack. For this reason we will not ship if the 10-day forecast at your zip code calls for lows of freezing or below and will hold any orders until conditions appear to be safe without a heat pack. This means that for anyone in a part of the country other than the West Coast, this may be your last chance to order plants before spring! We will continue shipping to customers on the West Coast, assuming temperatures are safe at your location. This obviously depends on altitude, so if you live in the mountains, you may be in a winter no-ship zone. If we do ship, you should receive tracking and pay attention to it. We appreciate your patience as we deal with the coming challenges of winter.
