Description
Mounted on cork plaque. Miniature plants stay under 6” in height and require less light than other oncidiums, so are great for those with limited space and/or growing under lights. Flowers are large for the size of the plant, and are sprays of “dancing ladies” with a bright yellow lip banded with purple or red. Sepals and petals are dark brown-purple. Very reliable bloomer. Native to Brazil, it grows in shady places. Can grow in the same conditions as phals or paphs, but can also tolerate brighter light and a wide range of temperatures. Young seedlings approaching blooming size. Photo shows the parent plant.
