Description
2” pot. Easy to grow standard-size species is native to Central America, where it grows in a variety of habitats from the usual tree branches in the forest to bare rocks in full sun. This species was commercially grown as a corsage orchid in the 1930s and 40s. Flowers are borne in clusters in the fall. The standard color form (shown in photo) is pinkish lavender with a purple lip. Young seedlings.
