Species native to rain forests in Central America has long, cylindrical, succulent leaves and thick white roots. Flowers are white and spidery in shape with a broad fringed lip, and lightly fragrant at night. Flowers may have reddish borders, especially if exposed to colder temperatures. Needs relatively bright light to flower well. Young seedlings.
