Description
2” pot. One of our favorite cattleya hybrids, this compact plant will produce stalks of waxy flowers with lime-green sepals, a purple lip, and purple-flared petals with white accents. These plants are tough. We once left one outside by mistake in mid-winter and found it encased in ice. When we warmed it up, it was fine and went on to bloom. We don’t recommend freezing these plants, it’s just to make the point of how tolerant they are. Young mericlone “seedlings”. [Photo courtesy of Carmela Orchids]
