Description

2” pot. Terrestrial orchid native to Assam and the Himalayas is a cute and compact plant, with sparkling gold to copper colored veining pattern on velvety dark green leaves. They bloom in summer through fall with spikes of small reddish flowers with a “feathered” white lip, but you grow them more for the beautiful foliage than the flowers. They like it warm and humid with medium to low light, but should not be overwatered. They can take cooler temperatures than others of this genus. Nice windowsill or terrarium plants.
