Description
Mounted on cork plaque. Now also called Gomesa croesus. Miniature plants stay under 6” in height and require less light than other oncidiums, so are great for those with limited space and/or growing under lights. Flowers are large for the size of the plant, and are sprays of “dancing ladies” with a bright yellow lip banded with purple or red. Sepals and petals are dark brown-purple. Very reliable bloomer. Native to Brazil, it grows in shady places. Can grow in the same conditions as phals or paphs, but can also tolerate brighter light and a wide range of temperatures. Young seedlings approaching blooming size.
