Description
2″ pot. A beautiful and powerfully fragrant species from southeast Asia. Usually blooms in winter. The plant has a vanda-like appearance and is not as gigantic as its name sounds. The flowers are borne on long pendulous stalks covered with many blossoms that can be a variety of colors ranging from white to pink or lavender to spotted. These should be solid red, like the photo. Mid-size seedlings [Photo, courtesy of Oak Hill Gardens, shows the red variety]
