Description
Mounted on cork slab. AKA Dockrillia rigida. Miniature and unusual succulent species from Australia and New Guinea that looks more like a cactus than an orchid. The plant has thick greenish-gray paddle-shaped leaves and bears clusters of fragrant light pink or yellow flowers with reddish brown stripes on the lip. It can flower at any time of year, but most often in spring or fall. In its natural habitat it grows on mangrove trees or stony areas. It is drought-resistant and grows well in high light. A really unique addition to any collection.
