Its flowers are full in shape, yellow-to lime green, with a few to many red spots, and a full, pink lip.\u00a0Bc (aka Bl) Richard Mueller is a compact primary hybrid between Brassavola nodosa and Laelia (now called Cattleya) milleri, a rupiculous Laelia that produces bright orange flowers. Richard Mueller produces sprays of golden yellow flowers with a red-spotted lip. The flowers may change color somewhat as they age.\u00a0This cross will likely produce flowers in shades of yellow with variable amounts of spotting. The plants themselves will be small.
