Paraphalaenopsis labukensis

Description

Mounted on cork plaque. Terete-leaved species native to Borneo will eventually grow quite large, with long, pendant leaves, but can start blooming while relatively small.  Blooms in spring with spikes of cinnamon-scented flowers that are brownish-purple edged in white, with a long, forked white lip spotted with dark red. Young seedlings with longest leaves 3-5″.
