Description
2” pot. Also called Maxillaria maleolens. This small Central American species is rarely seen for sale. It blooms with single flowers that arise at any time of year from the base of the plant and reportedly are fragrant, smelling like anything from coconut to moth balls. Flowers are yellow with a tongue-like red lip. These are young seedlings, but are already good-sized and growing rapidly.
