2” pot. (AKA Cattleya aurantiaca) Compact Cattleya alliance species from Mexico grows on trees or exposed rocks in the tropical rainforest. Blooms in late winter to early spring with multiple flowers per stalk.  Flowers are small (1.5 inches) brilliant yellow to orange or reddish-orange with some red striping or spotting in the lip and are borne in big clusters of up to 15 flowers. Needs medium to high light. Vigorous grower quickly becomes a specimen plant with spectacular clusters of orange flowers. The plants we have for sale   should have red spots on the sepals and petals as well as the lip. Young seedlings.
