Jumbo Grand is is a primary hybrid between Grammatophyllum martae, a large species from the Philippines that bears dark burgundy flowers in spring, and Grammatophyllum stapeliiflorum, a medium-sized Southeast Asian species with densely spotted flowers in shades of yellow and burgundy, also a spring-summer bloomer. Grammatophyllum scriptum is a species native to Southeast Asia that blooms with sprays of many greenish-yellow flowers  heavily marked with brownish-red. . The plants we have for sale are young seedlings.
