Description
Mounted on cork plaque. This small Australian species is also called the “pineapple orchid” because of its round, oddly spiky pseudobulbs. It can bloom just about any time, with pendant spikes bearing many bright green flowers with a dark red-brown lip. These seem temperature-tolerant and easy to grow. Photo shows pseudobulbs. Young seedlings.
