Winter Shipping and Holiday Shipping Moratorium

Now that November is here, parts of the US are getting cold. We always check the 10-day forecast for your zip code before shipping and, if temperatures are cold enough to require a heat pack, we include a 72-hour heat pack free of charge. If temperatures are predicted to be below 26 degrees F, it is unsafe to ship plants even with a heat pack, so we will hold your order until the forecast is such that it appears to be safe. If you live in a place where it gets very cold, you can expect some weather-related delays. There will also be a moratorium on shipping during the peak holiday mail rush from Thanksgiving through January 1, 2020, when there can be significant delays even with priority mail.. If you want to receive your plants before the new year, it is advisable to order before Thanksgiving.
